The bride and groom had a band for their reception entertainment.  A friend from Oregon flew in to take the photos.  Everyone had a great time.  The wedding was video taped by and will air on “Four Weddings” on TLC.

The reception got underway with an introduction of the bridal party to “Welcome To The Jungle” by Guns ‘N Roses. The bride and groom then began their first dance “The Maker Said Take Her” by Alabama. Toasts came from the best man and matron of honor, followed by a blessing before the meal by the groom’s sister.
      
After dinner the dance floor opened with the bride and father dance “There Goes My Life” by Kenny Chesney. At the conclusion of that dance all the guests were invited to the dance floor to help get the celebration started.
 
Events taking place during the evening included a money dance, the cake cutting, garter and bouquet and The Newlywed Game. The Newlywed Game was a lot of fun with questions having been submitted by the guests. Since there weren’t a lot of single guests, the bouquet and garter events were open to all ladies and men, single or married. The persons who caught the bouquet and garter were given Starbucks gift cards.
     
Guests had a lot of fun with the Photo Booth.
 
The evening concluded with “Lost In This Moment” by Big and Rich for the last dance.

The outdoor ceremony was performed by a close friend of the groom who really made the ceremony personal and meaningful. Music for the ceremony included “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole for the bridesmaid’s entrance, an instrumental version of “One Thing” by Finger Eleven for the bride and “Mary Me” by Train for the recessional.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed refreshments and appetizers at the bar area while the bride and groom finished their photo session with Steven of SJA Studios. Guests then entered the banquet hall which was decorated with lots of candles. The wedding party was announced to “Party Rock Anthem” by Lmfao, followed by the bride and groom’s entrance to “Easy” by Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers. A photo montage of the bride and groom’s childhood pictures played during dinner. Background music during dinner included “Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers”, “John Mayer”, and “Jack Johnson”.

After dinner the dance floor opened with “Smile” by Uncle Kracker for the bride and groom’s first dance. This was followed by “Don’t Know Much” by Linda Ronstadt for the bride and father dance, then “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts for the groom and mother. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of music to dance to. There were a few other special dances played during the evening – “You’ll Be In My Heart” by Phil Collins for the groom and his daughter and all the other fathers and daughters were invited to join, a mother and bride dance “Mama’s Song” by Carrie Underwood, and a married couples dance “Me & You” by Kenny Chesney. A few dedications were sprinkled throughout the evening – “Tootsie Roll” by The 69 Boyz for the bride and a friend, “Low” by Flo Rida for the groom and a friend and “Remember When” by Alan Jackson for the bride’s parents. “The Electric Slide” was a big family hit.

The wedding cake was replaced by cupcakes with a very unique cake stand; tree shaped at the ends with lots of cupcake holders in between and two cupcakes on a swing in the middle. The stand was made for the bride and groom by a friend.

The evening ended with “Beer In Mexico” as the final dance since Mexico was the bride and groom’s honeymoon destination.

The reception began with the entrance of the bridal party to “Party Rock Anthem” by Lmfao then transitioning into the bride and groom’s first dance “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith.

    Toasts were made by the best man, maid of honor and bride and groom’s fathers followed by a thank you to the guests by Paige and Josh. A slide show of photos from the bride and groom’s childhood played during dinner.
   
After dinner the dance floor opened with “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion for the bride and father dance. Half way through this song I mixed into “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts announcing to the guests that this song was a surprise dedication to Paige by her father. Josh then invited his mother to the dance floor for “Do I Make You Proud” by Taylor Hicks. Guests enjoyed dancing to a wide variety of requests and music selected by the bride and groom. Guests blew bubbles as Paige and Josh danced to “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.
      
After the wedding cake was cut (there was also a groom’s cake in the form of an Arizona Cardinals football helmet), “Single Ladies” by Beyonce and “Girls” by The Beastie Boys were played for the bouquet and garter events.  The bride and groom and guests made good use of the Photo Booth.
   
The evening ended with “The Day Before You” by Rascal Flatts.

Kyle and Alyssa had a great time at their wedding from beginning to end.  The weather was great and the ceremony was held outdoors in the garden.

Moving indoors after the ceremony we introduced the wedding party with “Celebrate Good Times” by Kool and The Gang.  The bride and groom’s first dance took place right after the introduction “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait.  The Best Man and Maid of Honor made their toasts followed by a thank you to the guests from Kyle and Alyssa and a blessing before the meal from the pastor.

The dancing resumed after dinner with a dance for the bride and her father “I Loved Her First” by Heartland and a dance for the groom and his mother “Almost Home” by Craig Morgan.  There was also a special song played for Alyssa to dance with her mother “Like My Mother Does” by Lauren Alaina.  Guests quickly filled the dance floor enjoying a wide variety of music with an emphasis on country.
     

Following the cake cutting the bouquet and garter events took place with the music selections “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” by Trace Adkins.  The newlywed game was a big hit.

The wedding ceremony was held in “The Poet’s Lounge”, a beautifully decorated room with qoutes of love and inspiration written on the floor.
   

After the ceremony guests were invited to “The Inspiration Lounge” for refreshments and appetizers while the bride and groom finished their after ceremony photos.  Spice bottles were given to the guests as wedding favors.  A unique “guest book” was provided for the guests to “sign” by “leafing” a thumbprint on a tree.
   

A grand introduction brought the bridal party into “Symphony Hall” for the main reception with the selected music “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles.  A delicious buffet meal was then provided for the guests by Arizona Inspirations Catering and Guru Palace.  With a mix of South Asian (Indian) and American guests, some ethnic selections were included. Toasts from the best man, maid of honor and both the bride and groom’s parents occurred at the end of dinner.
     

The dancing began with “Better Together” by Jack Johnson as the bride and groom’s frist dance. followed by “In My Life” by The Beatles for the bride and father dance, then “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole for the groom and his mother.  Guests enjoyed dancing to a wide variety of music including some Hindi and Bhangra selections.  “Jai Ho” from the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” was a favorite of the bride and her friends.  “The Cupid Shuffle” by Cupid was another song that proved to be a group favorite.
             

Once the wedding cake, made by a family friend, was cut, the bouquet and garter events followed with the music selections “Single Ladies” by Beyonce and “Hey Ya” by Outkast.

For this wedding the bride and groom selected “Ribbon In The Sky” by Stevie Wonder as the music for the entrance of the bridesmaids, “Marry Me” by Train for the bride and “Beautiful Day” by U2 for the recessional.  “I Will Follow You” by Chris Tomlin was the song chosen for the unity sand ceremony.  The bride and groom’s children were included in the sand ceremony.

All around, this was a family affair with the bride’s aunt serving as the oficiant and the groom’s uncle handling the photographer duties.  The groom, being a welder by trade, fashioned his own very unique cake stand from a Harley Davidson gas tank, tail pipes, chains and sprockets.

After the ceremony and cocktail hour the wedding party were introduced to “I’ve Got A Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas.  “It Will Always Be” by Willie Nelson was played for the bride and groom’s first dance, followed with “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac for the bride and father, then “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong for the groom and his mother.

The bride and groom’s dance music list included Kiss, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nickelback, Stevie Ray Vaughn, AC/DC, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Elvin Bishop and The Rolling Stones along with guest requests for everything from oldies to the most current popular dance music.  The bride also shared a dance with her son to “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley and the groom danced with his daughter to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw.  Music selected for the bouquet and garter events was “Single Ladies” by Beyonce and “You Really Got Me” by Van Halen.  The last dance of the evening was Beyonce’s version of “At Last”.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres on the patio with some light jazz music playing in the background before enterting the ballroom for the reception.  Music for the bridal party entrance was “Regulate” by Warren G.
Guests got a kick out of the bridesmaids and groomsmen dancing their way into the reception.
 

After a wonderful meal and toasts from the best man, maid of honor and the mothers of both the bride and groom the dance floor opened with the bride and groom’s first dance “The Longest Time” by Billy Joel.  This was followed by a dance for the bride and her brother “Lean On Me” by Club Nouveau.  Guests enjoyed dancing to their favorite requests including “Bad To The Bone” by George Thorogood (a song I don’t get to play at weddings very often).  Sometimes smaller weddings end early but this group danced late into the evening.

The cake cutting was followed by the bouquet and garter events with the song selections “American Girl” by Tom Petty and “Hello I Love You” by The Doors.  (Can you tell this was a Rock and Roll wedding?)  The “Do Not Play” music list
included “The Chicken Dance”, “The Macarena”, “The Electric Slide”, “The Cha Cha Slide”  (In fact, all “slides”, “shuffles” and “line dances” were banned from the music list.)  A bit of alternitive music was selected by the bride and
groom including “California Dreaming” by Benny Benassi.
